Beyond league standings, the Ahrweiler BC presents itself as a club where football means far more than just points and goals. The U15 II, the team coached by Moritz Feigk and Noor Shadman—colloquially known as C III—plays in the Kreisklasse for C7 and C9 teams. It's a colorful mix of players who embody the club's focus on grassroots sports. With five points, the team finished the preliminary round in seventh place after eight exciting matches. Under the guidance of Moritz Feigk and Noor Shadmann, the team unites players from different age groups and emphasizes the fun of the game.
Despite the broad sporting orientation, various players managed to attract the attention of the U14 team playing in higher leagues. A remarkable example is Dijedon Berbatovci, who made an impressive contribution to the success of the district league's third-place team with numerous appearances and three goals. Youth coordinator Gerd Treffer emphasizes the importance of also meeting the needs of recreational sports, stating: "Teams like the U15 II are not only a sporting home for all players but also offer the crucial opportunity to recommend themselves for higher leagues. We firmly believe that football is for everyone and want to give everyone the chance to develop their potential and experience the joy of the game."
