This past weekend, our F-Juniors were also busy on the ball โฝ๏ธ. Christian Wolf's fourth team and the first to third teams under Sarah and Dennis Preuรner, Viktoria Ennert, and Jeffrey Yankey played on the Funino fields in Burgbrohl and Heimersheim ๐๏ธ.
As has so often been the case, there was a solid showing on the field ๐. But once again, the focus was on having funโand that was guaranteed, even with the occasional setback ๐. Christian Wolf, who competed with his team in Burgbrohl, called it a perfect day of soccer โ๏ธ.
The three teams of Preuรner, Ennert, and Yankey, who were mixed throughout the entire squad, entered the district tournament in Heimersheim with the overarching daily goal of "Teamwork" ๐ค. "The boys did a great job," praised Sarah Preuรner proudly ๐.
And so ends the first year under the banner of the Funino game format. Both the F-juniors' kids and the coaches give the game format, conceived in the 1980s by hockey national coach Horst Wein, a good review ๐. "Our children had a lot of fun, could play more freely, and with high ball possession, they had many more successful experiences and all showed a steep learning curve," summarizes Sarah Preuรner the premiere year of Funino for children's soccer in the Rhineland ๐ฅณ.
