Amidst the outstanding achievements of our U13 in the Rheinlandliga, we can also proudly look at the impressive successes of the U13 II and U12. 🚀 Both teams have earned promotion from the Kreisklasse to the Leistungsklasse as champions. These triumphs are not only due to the talented boys and dedicated coaches, but also to a decisive factor that is normal elsewhere: since the beginning of the season, the boys of Ahrweiler BC once again have a proper home ground for matches and training in Bad Neuenahr – a long-awaited return after the flood damage of 2021. 👏 This spatial home has not only improved training and player development but also strengthened team spirit. Great thanks are also due to the player parents, who, through their effort and commitment, enabled their protégés to perform and develop step by step. 🙌
U13 II: 🌟🥇
Under the guidance of coaches Goran Strk and Alex Blauhut, and with the support of Yvonne Blauhut, the U13 II team has developed into a strong unit. With nine wins and one draw, they deservedly secured the championship title in the Kreisklasse. Valentin Krastev excelled with twelve goals, earning him the top scorer award. With new additions Finn Pohl and Maurice Möhren from the U13 Rhinelandliga team, the U13 II is facing new challenges in the Leistungsklasse. An exciting season awaits us, and we are ready for the next heights! 🚀⚽
U12: 🌟⚽
The youngest D-juniors of the ABC, coached and managed by head coach Gerd Treffer and Bella Angelova, started the season with a question mark but surprised everyone with nine wins and one draw. Philip von Sanden and Lasse Claesgens proved to be accurate goal scorers with eleven goals each. Head coach Gerd Treffer sees the team on the right track and emphasizes the defensive progress in the second half of the season, when the team only conceded one goal. Even though the upcoming tasks in the performance league against older opponents have their appeal, the main focus is already on the 2024/2025 season, when it will most likely be about Rheinlandliga points. We look forward to the future with excitement and are full of anticipation for the upcoming challenges! 💪🌈
