Our young guns from the U11 team performed brilliantly in the opening round of the E-Juniors indoor district championship in Polch. 💪⚽ In one of the total of 10 preliminary groups, the boys showed what they're made of: 4 wins in 5 games – and that without a single goal conceded. 🚀💯
Our team only suffered a narrow 1-2 defeat against the strong opponents of JSG Maifeld Elztal III, who ended up second in the league. But that couldn't dampen the mood: 1st place in the standings and a confident qualification for the next round – mission accomplished. ✅🙌
Coaches Andre Wenigmann, Gerd Treffer, and Ralf Lauterbach were full of praise after the tournament: "The boys put on a formidable performance." Jakob Porten and Noah Willmann, in particular, had an "outstanding day" and were almost unstoppable. 🍦✨
