Our D-Juniors from Ahrweiler BC have shown remarkable achievements in the 2023/2024 season. Divided into three teams – U13 (Rheinlandliga), U13 II (Kreisklasse), and U12 (Kreisklasse) – we would like to look back today on the outstanding season of the U13. 🌟
The U13 team ended the season with an impressive sixth place in the championship round of the Rheinlandliga, making them the most successful youth team at ABC in terms of sports performance. 🚀 But the path there wasn't always easy. However, even two coaching changes and a slight dip in performance at the beginning of the championship round couldn't throw the boys off course. Head coach Jankin Hasan and his team mastered every challenge with flying colors. 💪
The summer additions Noah Richter and Endrit Gashi, who were the most successful goal scorers with seven and six goals respectively, demonstrate the good work done in preparation for the second Rhineland League season of a D junior team of Ahrweiler BC. 👏 The assistant coaches Bastian Küpper and goalkeeper coach Peter Sahl, as well as the always supportive parents, also contributed significantly to this success. 🙌
The individual development of the players was impressive, and we are proud that our outstanding defensive leader Edonis Gerguri will be playing for Bonner SC in the future. We wish him the best of luck and success in his new role. 🍀
Overall, the 2023/2024 season was an outstanding one for our U13s, who were the benchmark for the ABC's youth development. The Ahrweiler BC thanks everyone involved, both on and off the field, for this formidable season. ❤️
