On Saturday, our "Maxi-Bambini" participated in a Bambini meet for the first time. On the grass field of SV Niederoberweiler in Burgbrohl, approximately 100 young kickers met in summery temperatures and showed the very numerous accompanying parents what they could do. Johanna and the boys from Sarah Preußner, Frank Stephani, and Dennis Preußner formed two of a total of 15 teams. For the young kickers from the district capital, the initial excitement quickly gave way to the joy of playing, which they displayed in four matches each. The question most often asked at the end of the event on three fields ("Sarah, will we get a prize too?") was answered satisfactorily with the presentation of a medal to the participants at the final awards ceremony for the kids.
