U13 I TuS Koblenz II vs. Ahrweiler BC I 1:2 (1:0)
The U13 team of Ahrweiler BC has had a brilliant start to the season in the Bezirksliga: two games, two wins, second place in the standings. Last weekend, coach Danny Werner's team, along with the staff Detlef Kleiss and Thomas Lorenzen, visited the strong TuS Koblenz II. The ABC youngsters initially fell behind 0-1 but showed a strong reaction after halftime. Particularly noteworthy was goalkeeper Jakub Sikkes, who shone as an outfield player that day and turned the game around with two goals. The tactical adjustment at halftime, which gave Werner's team new momentum, was also crucial. In the end, the team celebrated a deserved away victory against the so-called "Schängelschmiede" (a nickname for a youth development academy) and can look forward to the upcoming home game against JFV Rhein-Hunsrück II with confidence.

The U12 team of Ahrweiler BC celebrated their second victory in the autumn round this weekend. In an internal club match against the U13 II, Thomas Lorenzen's and Ralf Lauterbach's team ultimately won clearly with an 8:2 (3:1) score. The boys, who were still active in the E-Juniors last season, showed from the start that they have arrived in the new age group. With powerful attacking play, the team created numerous chances, which they consistently converted. For the U12, Leo Bastiaansen (2) (symbol photo), Timo Deuster, Yorik Welsch, Felix Sahl, Salomon Badagbon, Paul Schumann, and Moritz Winnen scored. The goals for the U13 II were scored by Anton Appl and Leon Haxhiu. With six points now, the U12 team sits at the top of the table. The team has a bye next matchday before heading away to play SG Westum.
