The B II boys' team won 3-0 (1-0) against the bottom of the table JSG Vulkaneifel Kottenheim on Thursday evening, securing their third consecutive victory in the performance class.
From the very beginning, the Kreisstadt youth team started well in the game, generating more possession of the ball and scoring opportunities. However, the team coached by Moritz Feigk sometimes played with the ball too awkwardly. The only goal in the first 40 minutes was scored by Lion Debus, who scored the 1:0 goal after ten minutes of play. Overall, there were three C-Juniors on the side of the ABC youth team. In addition to the goalscorer Lion Debus, it was also David Lorca and Henry Schweigert.
In the second half, an open exchange of shots developed with good periods of play for both teams. However, ABC showed more danger in front of the goal and added two more goals through Nelson Kleiss (59‘, 80‘).
Already today, the third-placed team from the district town will once again take to the field. The match will be played on the artificial turf in Kripp against the JSG Nickenich, which currently holds the second place in the table. The match will begin at 16:15.
