C III STILL IN THE FIGHT FOR A SPOT IN THE TOP DIVISION – C IV SUPPORT FOR THE D JUNIORS
The C III juniors still have a chance to achieve second place in the standings and thus qualify for the Leistungsklasse, which starts in the spring. Over the weekend, the team coached by Goran Strk won their home game against Grafschafter JSG 3-1 (2-1). The goal scorers were Lisi Thaci, Leon Alvaro, and Maurice Möhren. After a focused performance, qualification for the Leistungsklasse remains within reach. The first of three remaining tasks in the final sprint of the Kreisklasse is next weekend with another home game against JSG Herresbach.
The C IV juniors, who started as a 7-man team, are still waiting for their first win of the season. The team coached by Noor Shadman again had to rely on support from the D-juniors over the weekend, as they were short on available players, just as they were recently. Despite a 2-0 lead by Gabriel Alchanaa and Ivan Khalil, the team lost 2-4 to JSG Vordereifel. The second leg is scheduled for the upcoming weekend.
