++SEASON REVIEW: C & D JUNIORS: FIGHTING SPIRIT, CHALLENGES, AND LEAGUE VICTORY++

C III misses scoring chances

C III vs. JSG Zissen 2:3 (0:1)

"Great until the box. But in the box, it lacked punch," said assistant coach Alexander Blauhut after the last Kreisklasse match of the year at JSG Oberzissen. Against league rivals JSG Zissen, who qualified for the Leistungsklasse, the ABC juniors had to accept a narrow 2:3 defeat (0:1) on Sunday, despite an overall good performance. The two goals to close the gap were scored by Leon Bertram, who, like Robert Tchiri, slid into the team as a player from the U14 due to injuries and illness. After the winter break, the Kreisklasse continues in a newly formed league.

No goals for C IV

JSG Rieden vs. C IV 16:0 (11:0)

After the 0-3 loss at TuS Mayen – which was still 0-0 at halftime – Noor Shadmann's team was confronted with a clear 0-16 defeat on Tuesday in their match against JSG Rieden. Without the support of the younger D-juniors, the loss was particularly hard. In the Kreisklasse for 7- and 9-player teams, C IV is currently in second to last place. The team will play their last league game of 2024 this coming Friday on the new artificial turf in Bachem – again against Rieden.

D III: League victory with a clean record

SV Berg/Freisheim vs D III 2:4 (1:2)

The D III looks back on an immaculate autumn season in the Kreisklasse. The mixed team, consisting of the 2012 and 2013 age groups, coached by Moritz and Christopher Feigk, celebrated a 4-2 victory in their last league match against SV Berg/Freisheim, marking their eighth win in eight games. Even before that, the D III had already secured the league title in the D 7 Juniors Kreisliga. Endrit Krasniqi, Olsi Zogaj (2), and Gabriel Alchanaa scored the goals on the snowy field in Berg. Zogaj was the team's top scorer for the autumn season with a total of 18 goals.
