4:2 victory over Grafschafter JSG – Mulaki scores a hat-trick
The C-Juniors of Ahrweiler BC celebrated a clear victory on Wednesday evening in Ersdorf-Altendorf in the first of two relegation games for the B-Juniors' district league. The district capital's youth team, which was dominant on the field for the entire 80 minutes, missed many goal-scoring opportunities, especially in the first half, leading to a 1-1 halftime score. Altin Mulaki scored to make it 1-0 (22’). The visitors equalized in the final minute through Max Scheffler.
After the change of sides, there should be no more doubts about the victory of the young ABC players. Mulaki (51', 70') scored two more goals, and Nina Hainke increased the score to 4-1 after 74 minutes of play, securing the opening victory. Jonas Schwipperich (77') scored the visitors' second goal to make the final score 4-2. In the final match of the relegation round, Thomas Dressler's team will play away at FC Plaidt next Saturday, who had already defeated Grafschafter JSG 9-0 in their opening match.
"Nina and the boys played very tidily," Dressler was generally satisfied, but at the same time criticized the careless handling of scoring chances on that day.
