The D-juniors of Ahrweiler BC were honored yesterday evening for their outstanding success at the Futsal championships. On behalf of the board, youth team leader Gerd Treffer presented the young footballers with well-deserved recognition and a commemorative trophy for their victory, which makes those responsible proud.
In addition to winning the futsal championship title, the team's successful season performance was also recognized. Currently positioned third in the Rheinlandliga Staffel 2, the team has continuously developed under the current coaching staff.
Under the guidance of head coach Marina Weidenbach, the team is now striving to qualify for the championship round of the Rheinlandliga, which would be another sporting highlight.
