Double Double Packs Lead Ahrweiler BC U15 to Victory

The U15 team of Ahrweiler BC achieved an important victory against the visiting team JFV Schieferland in the C-Junioren-Rheinlandliga championship league last Saturday. After two less successful games, the team coached by Oliver Johann Lewy and Timo Schäfer showed a significant improvement in performance.

From the start, the U15 team played with high concentration and took the lead in the 6th minute with a spectacular goal from Simon Gros. Gros extended the lead to 2-0 with his second goal shortly thereafter. Just before the halftime break, Ben Megow increased the score to 3-0 with a long-range shot.

After the change of sides, the U15 shifted down a gear, leading to Schieferland's 3-1 consolation goal in the 67th minute. However, in the final minutes, the team found its strength again and countered for a final score of 4-1. It was once again Ben Megow who scored, netting his second goal of the day.

With this victory, the U15 team of Ahrweiler BC is in eighth place in the standings after the fourth matchday.
