++E III 1:4 DEFEAT AGAINST STRONG WESTUM YOUTH++

After the 3-3 league opener last weekend, coach Simon Grüninger's E III juniors suffered a 4-1 (3-0) defeat against the 2nd team of SG Westum last Friday evening.

The home team's early 1-0 lead was met by the district capital's youth with a game at eye level and numerous good offensive actions, which unfortunately did not result in a goal. As the game progressed, SG Westum played with increasing pressure and increased their lead to 3-0 before halftime.

Even in the second half, it was the hosts who were the first to celebrate a goal. However, the young ABClers did not give up and repeatedly advanced towards the opponent's goal with good plays, but a goal would not fall for the time being. The reward in the form of a consolation goal did come a few minutes before the final whistle. Fabio Lemling, who had already scored twice at the start, found the back of the net for the final 4-1 score.

Conclusion: The victory of the strong blue-blacks was completely deserved. Effort, enjoyment of the game, and even the approaches were absolutely fine on the side of ABC. The next match day will be against SG Westum again – but against their third team.
