The E-juniors of Ahrweiler BC look back on an extremely successful first half of the season since its start. The three teams have impressed not only with their outstanding results but above all with their development and team spirit.
U11 – Successful Promotion to the Performance League
The U11 team, consisting of the older age group of E-Juniors, finished the fall season in the Kreisklasse with 9 wins and one loss, securing first place. Qualification for the Leistungsklasse starting in the spring underscores the team's impressive performance. With 97 goals scored and only one loss in league play, the team not only shows an impressive record but also consistent development. This is clearly thanks to Thomas Lorenz, Michael Hildebrandt, and Florian Doktor, who coach and manage the team.
U11 II – New team with a perfect record:
The mixed U11 II team, consisting of older and younger players and newly assembled at the start of the season, impressed with a flawless record of 24 points from 8 games in the Kreisklasse. The work of head coach Andre Wenigmann, supported by Guido Di Carlo and Ralf Lauterbach, as well as the important role of team manager Bianca Herschbach, significantly contributed to the success.
U10 – Young Talent with a Perfect Score
The U10 junior team dominated play in the Kreisklasse with ten wins in ten league games. The coaching duo, Darijo Matosevic and Lukas Gronwald, did excellent work developing the players from F-Juniors to E-Juniors. Despite the success, the focus remains on continuous improvement and the joy of playing soccer. Unfortunately, the U10 team has to cope with the loss of a key player to a larger club during the winter break, which also signifies recognition for the successful training work of the coaching duo.
Finally, youth leader Gerd Treffer emphasizes: "The training of the junior players of the E-Juniors of Ahrweiler BC is characterized by sustainable development through extremely motivated coaching teams, not by a blind pursuit of goals and points. The support of the parents is of central importance. We are very proud of the current 2013 and 2014 age groups and look forward to the future with anticipation, as these boys promise a lot for the club."
