The joyful eyes of the U11 juniors as they received their participation medals suggested that the kids were satisfied with their performance at the well-organized 6th Zion Cage-Soccer Tournament (Funino-style) hosted by VfL Oberbieber last weekend in Neuwied. For the coaching quartet Sarah and Dennis Preußner, along with Victoria Einert and Jeffrey Yankey, fun and the learning factor were the priorities. The younger U10 players faced tough competition in the preliminary round against the teams from EGC Wirges, FC RW Koblenz, FC Andernach II, and VfR Koblenz. "The boys remained motivated throughout the entire preliminary round and had a lot of fun playing, despite unfavorable results," said head coach Sarah Preußner.
