However, Berbatovci proved just a few minutes later that he also knows his way around the opponents' goal. ⚽ With a brace (22', 25'), he turned the game around and secured a 1-2 halftime lead for the team of Goran Strk and Alexander and Yvonne Blauhut. 💪
The picture changed in the second half: The fluid play of C III was initially interrupted by the committed attacks of the combined team of coaches Markus Rieder and Guido Theisen. Aaron Bremm deservedly equalized to make it 2-2 in the 42nd minute. 🌟 But the ABC juniors didn't give up and could once again rely on Clemens Schäfer's strength in set pieces. 🎯 With a beautifully taken direct free kick in the 65th minute, he put his team back in the lead – 2-3! 🚀
The final phase was quite something. The hosts hit the crossbar again, and both teams played with open offensive intent – everything still seemed possible. 😱 In the end, however, it remained with a narrow away win for the C III juniors, who had already won the first leg. 💪
Just as on August 31st, both junior teams met each other with great respect again yesterday on the artificial turf in Insul. The sportsmanship and fairness of all participants on and off the field were once again noticeable in a positive way. 👏🤝
