++YOUNG TALENT ON A SUCCESSFUL COURSE: ON TEAM SPIRIT, TALENT, AND BIG GOALS++
U11: With Speed and Team Spirit to the Performance League Ticket!
SG Westum - U11 3:5 (2:4)
The U11 has officially qualified for the performance league! With a commanding 5-3 away win against SG Westum, the team coached by André Wenigmann, Ralf Lauterbach, and Darijo Matosevic secured the crucial point advantage. The young footballers from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler were already leading 4-2 at halftime and demonstrated composure, enthusiasm, and strong team spirit in the second half.
Henri Stege (2), Mehras Moradi, Liam Wenigmann, and David Matosevic scored the goals, completing their eighth victory in nine games. Now, on the final matchday before the winter break, they face bottom-of-the-table FC Plaidt – ideal conditions to conclude the first half of the season with another success.
U10: Strong in the second half – deserved 4-0 away win!
JSG Pellenz Plaidt – U10 0:4 (0:1)
The U10 team needed a little time to get going, but then showed why they want to play at the top. After a narrow 1-0 lead at halftime, things went much better in the second half: with a solid defense and clever passing combinations, Sarah and Dennis Preußner's team dominated the game and were rewarded with three more goals. The goals were scored by Eris Zogaj (2), Shayan Aslani, and Deon Ibrahimi – a strong team performance! With 15 points from eight games, they remain in contact with second place in the standings, which would lead to the performance league. In their next match, the U10 will face the still-winless second team of JSG Remagen, before the big finale against the second-placed team, JSG Volkesfeld.
E III: Successful Completion and Anticipation for the Hall!
The E III team said goodbye to the winter break with a great success. In the last fair play game of the year, the team defeated TG Namedy on the Bad Neuenahr mid-field. The overall record is also impressive: both as a team and individually, the boys have made great progress, much to the delight of coach Dennis Preußner. "The boys did a really good job. Now we're looking forward to picking up the pace in the indoor season," said Preußner. The motivation is there, and the fun of the game remains the most important thing!
EV: Young, talented and full of ambition
As a pure F-Juniors year group, the E V team started in the summer – and what the team led by Gerrit Kanowski and Alem Porca has shown so far is impressive. Despite the age and often physical disadvantage, the team is not only keeping up but also setting its own highlights. Successes were not only seen on the field: in training, the boys are giving their all and making great progress. "It's simply fun to watch this team – whether in training or in competition," enthuses Darijo Matosevic, who recently served as a reserve coach. With so much talent and motivation, the future promises a lot.
Pure joy of playing: Bambini impress at the tournament in Bachem
The Bambini of the 2019/2020 year, the youngest kickers of Ahrweiler BC, participated with two teams last weekend in a tournament to open the new sports field in Bachem. The joy over the newly inaugurated playing field was clearly visible to the participants and officials. The ABC's mini-kickers provided an additional reason for excitement with their performance. "It's great to see how eager and playful the boys are and how much fun they bring," praised coach Michael Lorca the performance of his protégés. Together with Murat Aslan, who also belongs to the coaching team, he was pleased about a successful day that was a complete success not only in terms of sports but also in terms of camaraderie.
