Ahrweiler BC U12 dominates and is promoted!
The U12 team of Ahrweiler BC 🟥⬜ was already confirmed as champions of the Kreisklasse Staffel 2 and promoted to the Leistungsklasse before the final matchday on Saturday against second-to-last placed SG Westum II. The team, managed by Gerd Treffer and Bella Angelova, had control of the game on the artificial turf in Westum throughout the entire match, taking an early lead through Felix Schlebusch (3') and extending it to a clear 4-0 advantage by halftime with goals from Oskar Glasner (13'), Paul Schwarz (28'), and Lasse Claesgens (30'). 🎉⚽
In the second half, Westum goalkeeper Mika Lohoff shone with great saves, so that only one more goal from the ABC youth team was added. Lasse Claesgen set the final score of 5:0 with his second goal. Due to the weather, which offered nothing but rain, wind, and cold, all participants longed for the final whistle. ☔❄️
With 28 points from nine wins and one draw, the youngest D-junior team of Ahrweiler BC can look back on a successful autumn season. The development of the team, which will have to hold its own in the Rheinlandliga next season, is also remarkable. 📈👏
