Ahrweiler BC is pleased to announce that Maximilian Bluhm will remain with the U23 team for the upcoming season. The 21-year-old midfielder, who completed his soccer training in the youth academy of Bonner SC, has been with the district town club since January 2023 and has since become a key player in central midfield.
Sports Director Aldin Sukic is enthusiastic about the young talent's decision:
“Max is an incredibly important player for us and a true team player. By extending his contract, we’re also sending an important message to the team. It’s not something to be taken for granted that a player with his potential—and offers from higher-division clubs—would choose to stay with us. That shows great appreciation for our club.”
Bluhm himself expresses himself positively and motivated:
“I feel right at home here and am looking forward to the upcoming season with a new coaching staff and the guys. We’ll have another young, hungry team on the field, and we’ll give it our all together.”
Ahrweiler BC thanks Maximilian Bluhm for his loyalty and commitment. All parties are confident that "Max" will continue to play a significant role in the team in the future.
