SOLDIER START FOR U15 II: CHEERED HOME VICTORY!

The newly founded U15 II of Ahrweiler BC had a tough start to the season, losing 4-9 in an away game of the C 9 / C 7 district league against JSG Bad Breisig. However, on the second matchday, our young talents showed a promising performance and celebrated a much-cheered victory. On Saturday, the young ABC players won 7-6 (5-5) against JSG Vordereifel Mayen II.

It was a gripping game that went back and forth until the score was 6-6. Then came the decisive moment: a last-minute game-winning goal by Ibrahim Othman, who dominated the game as a six-time scorer and became the match winner. Our captain, Levin Hammers, also contributed to the success with his goal to make it 4-2 at one point. "We had the chance to decide the game earlier, and in the end, we had luck on our side," commented coach Moritz Feigk after this thrilling match on the central pitch in Bad Neuenahr.

This coming Saturday, our young talents have a bye before they play against SG Andernach II the following weekend.

We are proud of our U15 II and look forward to more exciting games and victories!
