MATCH REPORT: AHRWEILER BC U10 SHOWS STRONG TEAM PERFORMANCE AGAINST JSG VULKANEIFEL ETTINGEN II

Last Friday, the Ahrweiler BC U10 team competed in the Kreisklasse against the second team of JSG Vulkaneifel Ettringen, demonstrating impressive team cohesion. From the first minute, the young talents impressed with consistent pressing, clear interplay, and great enthusiasm for the game.

From the perspective of the coaching team, Sarah and Dennis Preußner, it was particularly pleasing that the team performed as a unit throughout the entire game, refraining from selfish actions. Every player showed commitment and was able to demonstrate their individual progress. Some positional changes also led to new insights that put the coaching duo in a positive mood: "We were able to implement and improve our pressing specifically today," they said after the match.

High praise also went to the guests from Ettringen, who never gave up despite a very high score. Especially during the final penalty shootout, the children once again showed their fighting spirit and scored impressive goals, which were cheered enthusiastically by both sides.

With the victory, ABC's U10 solidifies its position at the top of the standings. The last season game on June 7th against the current fourth-placed team, JSG Zissen, promises to be another exciting duel.
