What a spectacle! In the E-Youth performance league derby, the U11 team made a big statement in the fight for the league title, ultimately winning clearly against the very good boys from Grafschafter JSG with a score of 8-4. Speed, technique, passion – this game had everything a top match needs!
At first, ABC struggled, but then the lads with the coaching team of Andre Wenigmann, Ralf Lauterbach, and Gerd Treffer shifted into high gear. With aggressive pressing, clever passes, and ice-cold finishes, they turned the game around and gave the visitors hardly any chances.
"It's clear game after game how much the boys are developing," said a beaming Gerd Treffer after the final whistle. And he's right: Ahrweiler was ultimately superior to a combative Grafschaft team – and rewarded themselves with a deserved landslide victory.
A derby that was really exciting – for the players, the coach, and the enthusiastic fans on the sidelines!
The next home game for the Ahrweiler U11 juniors is scheduled for May 16, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM in Bachem.
