What a beautiful day. On the tournament day in Heimersheim last Saturday, our F-Youth (born 2016) showed how much fun soccer can be – and how wonderfully each individual child has developed in recent months.
From the very beginning, everyone was enthusiastic. Whether in dribbling, passing, or shooting – you could really see how much the children have already learned. Many actions were brave, creative, and increasingly well-coordinated. It's wonderful to see how individual players are slowly becoming a real team.
Some dared to set up the game themselves for the first time. Others had really good ideas in front of the goal or helped their teammates when things weren't going well. And above all: everyone had fun – even if a game was lost or a ball went wide of the goal.
Even off the field, the atmosphere was great. The sun was shining, there was laughter, cheering, and high-fives after every game – no matter the outcome. The organization by SGL Heimersheim was excellent, and the atmosphere was simply pleasant all around.
A big shout-out to our kids – you are on a really good path! And a thank you to all the parents, coaches, and organizers who made this day so wonderful.
We're already looking forward to next time!
