Especially at the beginning of the second half, which was rained out for the entire 25 minutes, the match of the 3rd matchday in the E Juniors Performance League between the U11 of Ahrweiler BC and the team from TuS Oberwinter on Friday evening hung in the balance. After the 2-1 halftime score (goals: Louis Kleiss, Tom Hildebrandt) for the county town kickers, Oberwinter pushed for the equalizer, but interim keeper Umar Hayat could be relied upon. After Louis Kleiss's 3-1, but definitely after Julian Bundkirchen's goal to make it 4-1, the match was decided. Louis Kleiss added a brace to make the final score 6-1. It was the third victory for the team of Thomas Lorenz and Michael Hildebrandt, putting the youth team from the Ahrtal level on points with Grafschafter JSG in the top spots of the performance league.
