Each individual, on and off the field with U13 II, deserves praise and thanks. The team, made up of the younger and older D Junior age groups, secured promotion to the Leistungsklasse prematurely on Saturday with a 4-1 home win against JSG Remagen II. This was not necessarily to be expected before the season began. However, the coaching team of Goran Strk, Alexander Blauhut, and supervisor Yvonne Blauhut, and above all the boys themselves, have done a very good job so far. Hats off!! 👏👍
On Saturday, against the fifth-placed team JSG Remagen II, the team took their chance for an early promotion into their own hands and gave their all from the start. With two goals from Lisi Thaci and Clemens Schäfer, Blauhut/Strk's protégés put themselves in a good starting position from the beginning, which was further extended with the third goal from the goal guarantee, Valentin Krastev (15'). With a 3-0 lead at halftime, the teams switched sides.
While in the first half, only ABC pushed forward and also had to contend with two shots hitting the post, the match became much more balanced in the second 30 minutes, without the victory for the U13 II ever being in danger. After the guests scored in the 48th minute, offensive dynamo Gabriel Alchanaa put the game to bed with the 4-1 goal in the 55th minute. A victory that reflects the result and secures the team's ticket for the performance league, which starts in the spring. The team will face TuS Oberwinter and Grafschafter JSG II in their two remaining league games.
