Our U15 juniors, under the ambitious leadership of coach Oliver Johann-Ewy and his assistant coach Timo Schäfer, are ready for the new season in the Rheinlandliga.
With a strong core from last year's successful U14 team—which secured a top finish in the district league—and several promising and ambitious newcomers, the team is ideally positioned to build on the successes of the previous season, when the ABC youth team secured its place in the highest regional league very early on.
In addition to sporting success, the focus is on the holistic development of the young players. Tactics, technique, physical condition, and mental strength are the main focus.
New to the team: In addition to the experienced players from the U14 squad, we were able to bring in some talented new additions who have already proven their skills in the first training sessions and trial games. With their individual strength and team spirit, they will be a real asset to the team.
Preparation for the new season: During the preparation phase, our guys worked hard and were already able to impress, especially in the recent test matches. The coaching staff is confident that the team is well prepared for the demanding Rheinlandliga.
Season goal: Our goal is to establish ourselves in the Rheinlandliga and play a strong role. In doing so, we want to not only be successful, but also not lose sight of the enjoyment of football.
It all kicks off on August 31st. For our opening match, our team will play at home against FC Cosmos Koblenz. We are already looking forward to many exciting games.
