After the U23 team was able to once again hope for survival in the Bezirksliga with two consecutive wins, these hopes were almost dashed on Sunday during the away match of the 28th round against the already relegated TuS Rheinböllen. The Rheinlandliga reserve team from the Ahrtal lost 1:2 (0:1), although they created numerous scoring opportunities during the two games before the end of the season.
